Tree of Memories 2009
Dear Friends,
Heath Funeral Home
invites you to share with us in decorating our “Tree of Memories” on
Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
Please join our staff
at Heath Oak Hill Chapel in the commemoration of loved ones who have
died. The service will be conducted by Bro. Steve Summers of Ash Flat
Church of Christ, Bro. Larry White of First Baptist Church of Cherokee
Village, and Bro. Jack Richardson. Special music will be provided by
Denise Gibbons of Ash Flat. The staff of Heath Funeral Home will host a
reception following the memorial service.
The purpose of this
service is to honor those who have gone before us, and to serve as an
acknowledgment to the living that you and your family have lost a loved
one and are having the experience of going through the holiday season
without them. You are invited to bring an ornament in memory of your
loved one to be placed upon our Christmas tree. The tree will be located
in the lobby of the funeral home and will remain there until January 4,
2010. This special tree is dedicated to the cherished memory of those
loved ones who passed away but still live in our hearts.
Whether you are able
to attend the service or not, you may bring your ornament to the funeral
home any time during business hours from December 1 to December 20th.
We will make every effort possible to protect your ornament, but cannot
be responsible for any damage that might occur. Ornaments may be picked
up any time after Christmas until January 15, 2010, during business
hours. After that time your ornament may be donated to a local charity.
The “Tree of
Memories” has become a tradition to us at Heath Funeral Homes. Our hope
is that it will become a fulfilling and meaningful tradition for you as
well. Memories of loved ones are priceless gifts that give us great
comfort. During this season, we at Heath Funeral Home want to provide
this tree as an expression of love for the community.
