Prearranging a funeral has many advantages; saving money and peace of mind are only a couple of the things achieved by making prearranged funeral plans. Most people like the peace of mind that comes with having their funeral wishes documented and paid for.

     We also offer life insurance which can be used to fund a prearranged funeral plan, schedule an appointment to see if you qualify.

     Prearranging a funeral should be a relatively simple, trouble free process for you;  simply schedule an appointment and one of our licensed funeral directors will sit down with you and help you develop your individual plan.  We will begin by gathering all of the vital information about you and your family.  Next we would discuss what your wishes are, what kind of service you want and the type of merchandise you would like to purchase.  Upon completion of your selections we will write you a prepaid funeral service contract; this contract will need to be funded by one of the funding options available. 

     If you wish to pay in full we will write you an insurance policy in the amount you have paid.  If you wish to make monthly payments an annuity policy will be written with a minimum down payment and a monthly payment that is convenient for you.  You will only pay the amount the policy is written for, once you have paid the contract amount your payments will stop and you will have the full contract amount of coverage.  100% of the money you pay each month will go towards your balance, there are no finance or handling fees; if the policy is not paid in full at the time of death, the remaining balance will be due.  Your policy will be written by one of our Licensed Funeral Director’s who are also Arkansas Licensed Insurance Agents. Your insurance policy will be issued by Selected Funeral and Life Insurance Company of Hot Springs, AR.  Once your policy is established the money that you pay in is sent to S.F.L.I.C. who must manage all prepaid funeral contract money in complete compliance with Arkansas State Insurance Commission laws, therefore offering you the protection of the State of Arkansas and the security of one of the countries leading funeral and life insurance companies.

     Many people already have a life insurance policy; in some cases these policies can be transferred to the funeral home to fund a pre need policy, if not the policy can still be used at the time of need.  Please contact our office and schedule an appointment if you have a life insurance policy and would like to know more.

     Some people already have a pre paid funeral plan with another funeral service provider, most of the time these policies can be transferred to a substitute provider. If you would like to transfer an existing policy to us please schedule an appointment and we will explore the options available to you.
