Rose Smith, age 86, of Cherokee Village, died Monday, March
8, 2010 at Eaglecrest Nursing & Rehab Center in Ash Flat. Rose was a retired
registered nurse and a member of First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village.
She loved the sport of Aerobic swimming and Golf. Rose won a
championship in Cherokee Village and also played in tournaments in Hawaii
and Puerto Rico.
She is survived by her husband Robert Smith of the home,
brothers, John Simmons of Erie, PA and Jim Simmons of Peoria, IL and two
very special friends Jon and Sue Jett of Cherokee Village.
A Memorial service will be
held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, March 14 at Cherokee Village First Baptist Church
with Dr. Larry White officiating. Memorials may
be made to the Lottie Moon Missions.
