Dee Tyree Guyneth Dolores "Dee" Tyree, age 78, of Cherokee Village,
died Sunday, February 3, 2008, in Salem, Ark.
Dee held a Masters Degree in nursing and was a nurse for the Decatur School
District. After moving to Arkansas Dee opened a flower shop in
Cherokee Village, and also worked for White River Home Health. She worked
with the historical society of Cherokee Village, was community oriented and
enjoyed reading.
She was the daughter of the late Guy Purdue and the late Fleta (Shively)
Purdue.
She is survived by Two Daughters: Rebecca Thurman of Cherokee Village and
Lois J Burt of Canton, GA; and One Son, Mark Doss of Boon, IA .
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10:30, at the Cherokee Village
United Methodist Church, with Mark Doss and Jimmy Anderson officiating.
