Billy Earl Brewington, 74, of Paragould, died Monday at his home. He was born August 26, 1933 in Tyronza the son of the late Harley and Inez Hindman Brewington. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Ann Beith. He retired as plant manager of Memphis Easel and Wire and was of Baptist belief. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Brewington of the home; sons: William Brewington of Jonesboro, Michael Brewington of Columbus, Indiana, Bobby Carmikle of Trumann, Arkansas, Jerry Carmikle of Columbia, South Carolina, Scott Brewington of Southaven, Mississippi, Tim Brewington of Paragould; daughter, Deanna Currie of Columbia, Tennessee; eighteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
His life will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Thursday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Paul Currie officiating. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
