Caren Dorthea Anderson

Caren Dorthea Anderson, age 52, of Cherokee Village, died Sunday, at her Residence.  

She was the daughter of the late William Ragner Anderson and the late Florance Iren Ruth (Anderson) Anderson.

She is survived by her Son, William Anderson of Cherokee Village; Sister, Anita Zamarripa and Husband Jose of Frankfort, IA; Brothers, Ragner Anderson and wife Rosemary of Cherokee Village. and Aaron Anderson and wife Elaine of Lowell, IA. 

     

Caren was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Florance B Hawker.

Caren was a nursing Assistant for approximately 30 years; she put her heart and soul into taking care of her patients.  Caren also was an adventurous person in many ways. She loved her son and they were best friends.

She enjoyed her outdoor life, as well as her old time Rock and Roll. She will be deeply missed.

 

Memorial service will be at Spring River Beach in Hardy at 11:00 AM Saturday.

I worked with Caren at Ash Flat Nursing & Rehab back in the early 80's. She was a very caring person, and had a great sense of humor.
